An Orthopedic doctor deals with all the abnormalities and problems that we have been born with or that have developed in our locomotive organs. Orthopaedics treats the diseases of the bones and joints of the limbs, their condition after injuries; some muscle diseases and the abnormalities of the spine and the soft tissue that surrounds it.

When to turn to Your Orthopedic doctor:

  • You feel pain in your neck, back, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, feet, heels.
  • problems with the spine and vertebral discs, abrasion of cartilage, tennis elbow, inflammation of the heel-fascia and the sole, clubfoot, osselet.
  • You have pain in your bones, joints and tendonsheet
  • Painful joints, inflamed tendonsheet
  • Injuries obtained while doing sports
  • Sprains, bruises, rupture of a ligament, injuries of the knee-cartilage.
  • You think your child has a bad posture and walk.
  • Flat foot, scoliosis, spine deformations (flat back ect.)
  • Your teenage daughter or son has symptoms in the locomotive organ’s areas or she/he has a history of some kind of locomotive organ disease.
  • Some cysts or tumours have appeared on the limbs.

At the consultation:

The specialist maps out your symptoms and pains and do the diagnostics. According to the results, he/she will work out the best treatment plan for you, or, if needed, the specialist will do or organize the necessary surgery to treat serious locomotive organ abnormalities.

The doctor will also advise you on treatment and surgery that other doctors have prescribed for you (second opinion) and give you pieces of advice if you already had surgery, but the symptoms haven’t disappeared.
