Treatment of vericose vein Ask a doctor Please contact us.

The varicose vein disease is the typical, so-called civilizational illness of our days that is closely connected to our unhealthy lifestyle as well as inheritable family disposition and the hormonal condition plays role in its formation.
We separate more forms of varicose vein dilatations. In case of the so-called spider veins there are thin, netted veins with a diameter of 1 – 2 mm right under the skin. In these cases the problem is primarily aesthetical that can be treated properly with an injection therapy.

For whom we recommend

We recommend the treatment for those where disturbing capillaries, spider veins developed on any part of their body (face, legs, etc.) and they would like to get rid of them as quick and permanent as possible.

Before the treatment

Before the treatment you discuss with your plastic surgeon, conciliating also with a vascular surgeon if it is necessary, from which area you would like to eliminate the disturbing vasodilatations and if this is really the suitable intervention for you (an operation may be needed too).

Treatment of spider veins, vasodilatations

The treatment is not a surgical procedure, can be perform in ambulant practice. During the procedure the doctor injects a substance (for example Aetoxysclerol) into the veins due to which they close off. After the injection treatment of the spider veins the doctor places a bandage on the treated area so that the walls of the veins adhere.

After the treatment

Mild skin blush may develop on the place of the injection that would absorb after a few days. You have to wear the bandage, compression thighs for about 2 weeks and you are not allowed to expose the treated area to increased strain during this time.
