Before little labium plastic surgery
During the first consultation you can discuss with your plastic surgeon what your expectations are what result you expect from this surgery. Then the plastic surgeon chooses the operation technique is adequate in your case and explains where cuts and slits would be located.
The best is to perform the surgery 3 – 4 days after the end of menstruation period so the sensitivity of wounds would leave off till the next menstruation.
What happens during a little labium plastic surgery?
The operation is performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia requiring approx. 1 – 1,5 hours. During the operation the plastic surgeon removes excess tissue and stitches the wound that heals within few days.
After a little labium plastic surgery
You have to spend the following one night at the clinic. Little labiums can be swollen for few days after the surgery and there can be mild pain. You have to pay increased attention to keep the surgical area clean. During healing besides daily wash putting antibacterial liquid and cream on the wound is recommended together with panty liner.
Plastic surgeon uses absorbing stitches that will come off without help two – three weeks after the operation so just control is needed.
Avoid sexual activity during healing but after the next menstruation you can start your normal, usual sex.
